GENERAL INFORMATION

This is a NON-PROFIT youth baseball program for boys & girls ages 5 to 15 that live in Boone County, KY. All games are played on baseball fields within Boone County. The season normally starts mid April (D-Inst & T-Ball start 1 week later) and the season ends at the end of June for all teams except those still in tournament play.

Each age bracket plays using rules that accommodate that age bracket. This means base distance, pitching distance, etc. are changed to coordinate with the age of the players. Teams obtain players through a draft that is held prior to the start of the season. There is a fee for each player which is identified on the signup form. Players on existing teams are contacted by their coach each year regarding playing that year. New players must complete a signup form and return the signup form and fee to the league for the current year. New players can signup to play between January 1 and April 15 of the current year. The earlier a player signs up to play during that time increases the possibility that openings on teams are available. Players on teams that have not been contacted by the manager of the team by February 1 to play for that year should fill out a signup form to ensure they will be on a team for that year.

The age of players and level of play they will participate in is as follows:

T-Ball......................Will be 5 or 6 on September 30 of current year

D-Instructional(Coach Pitch)Will be 7 on April 30 of current year

D1..........................Will be 8 on April 30 of current year

D2..........................Will be 9 on April 30 of current year

C1.........................Will be 10 on April 30 of current year

B1.........................Will be 12 on April 30 of current year

B2.........................Will be 13 on April 30 of current year

A1.........................Will be 14 on April 30 of current year

A2.........................Will be 15 on April 30 of current year

AA age bracket refers to players age 16 & 17. This is a separate program and you should contact us for more information on this program.
Players that will not be 5 before October 1 of the current year are too young to participate in our program.

Current year refers to the year they will be playing.
